Mum is here! - Day 5

we slept in today and did nothing much except to pack our bags for Melbourne tomorrow! we finally managed to eat the Stewed Pork that Mum prepared the other day.. Geez! Mum was badly affected by that Pork Hock! hehez..

i think this is really YUMMY but then again it may scare some off, just like what the German Pork Hock has done to Mum!!! wahaha.. we also cooked our first pot of rice with the newly arrived rice cooker!

Mum cooked more Fried Bee Hoon for dinner.. while i went off to Stamford Plaza Hotel for the function that Ernie invited me to.. it was organised by the Australia-Singapore Business Council for Singaporeans~ Geez.. Zen had to explain to Ernie that i'm actually not Singaporean but Ernie was cool about it and also asked Mum along! Ernie is a really friendly guy and agreed to help with my job hunting!

Douglas Foo was the guest-of-honour! pretty interesting to see the owner of Sakae Sushi in person and also to hear about his history, the history of Sakae Sushi and his current/future plans for his business.. and did i mention that Nasi Padang was on the menu for dinner?! wahaha..
