Good Morning!

it's 8.05am ADL time.. the world is just waking up on this side of the world.. it's 7C and the sky looks gloomy.. i'm drinking a cup of instant coffee (sadly~) and having one of Jo's White Chocolate muffin (happily!) for breakfast..

for an unemployed, i should be in bed at this time! wahaha.. and not to mention the tedious process of cooking up a plate of Fried Rice yesterday evening left me pretty exhauted.. Fried Rice should be easy and quick, using up what's left in the fridge (provided they make sense with rice).. but i decided that i want fresh ingredients in my Fried Rice, which took up some time with all the slicing and cutting..

Ingredients:
- Olive Oil
- Rice (steamed)
- Corn (steamed, slice off corn kernels)
- Carrots (peeled, slice thinly)
- Stringless Beans (cut ends.. discard, cut into 1cm in length)
- Onion (peeled, cut into small cubes)
- Garlic (peeled, chop finely)
- Chicken Thigh (cut into cubes, marinate with soy sauce and pepper)
- Tulip Luncheon Meat (mash with fork and fry with Garlic)

with the above all done, stir fry Onions, Carrots, Stringless Beans till soft.. add in Chicken Thighs.. add in Corn after Chicken thighs are cooked.. last but not least, add in Luncheon Meat.. stir fry for a minute and finally add in the Rice.. mix evenly, Salt and Pepper to taste..

it tastes good with just salt, pepper and soy sauce, i think that's because of the fresh ingredients! efforts paid off!

offered fried rice to both girls in the house but Jo wasnt hungry.. Miyuki tried some though! after dinner, Miyuki asked if i want to watch a movie together and we went to the TV room to watch Atonement! it was quite a long movie.. and i didnt understand what was going on at the front.. the penny only drop about halfway through.. but after watching it, i want to read the book!
